Giving a second life to old skateboards

What to do with your skateboards once they have no more pop or are broken in half? Although they are no longer skateable they can still be useful.We have partnered with 7PLIS to revalue them. Florent Baraban, founder of 7PLIS, is an optician and glasses maker. He makes eyeglass frames and a whole range of objects such as watches, rings and even strategy games from old skateboards.

This approach of creating something new out of something old, without transforming or deconstructing the raw material used, is called upcycling. This solution reduces waste and the consumption of new materials.

How does it work?

All you have to do is put your board in the recycling bins installed in the skateboard departments of the partner shops. Once the bin is full, the team will send the boards to 7PLIS who will give them a new life.
