2023 has been a year full of new developments for Decathlon Skateboarding!

Constantly on the lookout for new challenges, the Decathlon Skateboarding team has been working hard to offer you the best products at the best prices.

DK900

The start of the year was marked by the release of our most technologically advanced board yet, the DK900, a skateboard made from 5-ply of Canadian maple and two layers of fiberglass, co-developed with one of our flagship rider Edouard Damestoy. The challenge with this board was to offer a board two time stronger than a traditional full maple board, built for performance, without emptying your wallet.

Our engineers succeeded in creating this board, and your numerous comments on it's quality and craftsmanship have only confirmed that we weren't wrong.

The DK900 is available in 4 sizes: 8", 8.25", 8.5" and 8.75".

WB500, BP500 and SC500

Because skateboarding isn't just about wheels and boards, 2023 also saw the complete overhaul of our luggage range.

Now made up of three items, our luggage offer stands out due to it's design, entirely conceived for skateboarding. Our WB500 bag and BP500 backpack both feature a tool built directly into the straps, as well as a small Allen wrench and Philips screwdriver for troubleshooting during your sessions. The BP500 is also equipped with a padded laptop storage compartment, and straps for attaching your board. Finally, our large carry bag, the SC500, can carry two complete boards as well as many other items, thanks to its 47L capacity.

2023 also saw two unique collaborations: one with artist Loïc Lusnia and surf brand Olaian, and another one with photographer Enzo Lusnia.

The first marks a turning point for Decathlon Skateboarding, as it consisted of our first textile pieces:

-A t-shirt made from 220gsm thick cotton.

-A 370gsm thick cotton hoodie, with a sweat-absorbing microfiber hood.

-And an exclusive colorway of our Vulca 500 slip on shoe.

More than just a clothing collection, this collaboration with Loïc Lusnia also included 3 boards featuring exclusives artworks.

This highly acclaimed collection is just a sneak peak of the surprises we have in store for you in 2024...

The second collaboration stands out because of its graphics, created from photos taken by photographer Enzo Lucia and applied to our DK500 shaped boards.

Keeping with Enzo's world and the technique he uses to take pictures - wet collodion - we chose to stick with a monochrome art direction and dip our boards entirely in black paint.

These DK500 SH were available in sizes 8.375" and 8.75".

2023 is also a pivotal year for our team, because 3 new pro riders joined us !

Finally, 2023 was a year full of victories for our most competitive riders, Roos Zwetsloot and Edouard Damestoy.

Roos won 2 bronze medals during the prestigious SLS competition, the first one in Chicago and the second one in Tokyo. Edouard won his first gold medal in megaramp at the Xgames, as well as a gold and a bronze medal at the Summer XGames.

If our team and riders have been busy in 2023, 2024 will be even crazier, with the releases of several video parts, a complete overhaul of our cupsoles footwear range, 3 new clothing collections and 2 pro-models.
