Imagined as the solution for board breakers and riders in search of the best pop possible, our new DK900 board abandons the traditional skateboard construction, historically constructed with 7-plys of Canadian maple. While Canadian maple has proven to be the perfect material for skateboards, thanks to its strength and flexibility, it does have its limitations.
Who hasn't broken a board? Who hasn't found themselves with a soggy board after just a few sessions? To overcome these problems, our DK900 has a construction that makes it more resistant to impacts, and with a long lasting pop. The secret? A FGC composite construction combining 5 plies of FSC-certified Canadian maple (from sustainably managed forests) and 2 layers of fiberglass.
To be sure of its resistance, we tested the DK900 in our laboratory, and the result was unanimous: compared to a traditional maple board, the DK900 is twice as resistant to impacts. We also putted it to the test at CPH Open, the result is also unanimous: The DK900 is two times stronger than your booty. Double the resistance means more tries on your gap sessions, because you don't always land bolts.
The wood we use is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. This certification ensures that the forest is managed in a way that preserves biologial diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.
We catched up with Adrien Bulard over the last few months. Adrien is a French skate legend, you might have seen some of his insane 360 flips or the clip where he bs tailed El toro. He was lately piling up bangers in Paris for his new part that will drop at the end of 2023, it’ll be a must watch!
There’s been a week in Paris where he was tearing down the Dôme everyday, at that time we supplied Adrien with fresh wood to keep the fire burning. He was pretty stoked on our new composite board.
At some point we had the opportunity to shoot with him and the result is this insane and effortless Switch backside Heel on the iconic 3 flat 4 of the Dôme in Paris.
Shaped according to the indications of our team rider, Edouard Damestoy, the DK900 has enabled him to win several international competitions: 3 gold medals at XGames and 2 world champ titles in vert.
